So what's going on with you? Haven't written in a while once again! ;) I will forever be in awe of those people who somehow are able to write everyday or almost everyday....even those who write once a week.

So anyways, I've been reading Herodotus and come to the conclusion that everyone should read it...it's super long so it would great to read over a long period of time or like me you can take a class and read it in about 4 weeks...but anyway It's by far my favorite history book that I have read so far and my favorite book that I have read for my class so far! :)

So, I just realised that I start almost all my paragraphs with "so." Is that a bad thing? I like to think of it as a good thing, but hey that might just be me...or should I not have drawn you're attention to it since you didn't notice it until I told you? Whatever, I'm sure you would have noticed it anyway! ;)

So, (there I go again!) this last week,(or maybe it was two weeks ago?) Luke, Ellie, and I along with some friends went to anouther ball...It was a "Pilgrim" themed ball...needless to say we once again wore modern formal to it. And here is a picture of Ellie and I...we forgot to get a picture with Luke in it so that's why he's not in it! :) Oh and by the way, Ellie's sweater is NOT blue! :) Just thought I would let you know! :)

So, anyways (and no, I'm not trying to say "so" it's just how I talk, It's not like I'm forcing you to read my blog! ;) Got to go! But it was nice saying hi! ;)

I never know what to say....

So much for posting more often! :) Well nothing much up with me...other then I had my 14th birthday which was AWESOME...I somehow manged to survive the ordeal of having everybody sing "Happy Birthday" to me...what do you do when you're family does that to you? I just stand there awkwardly and wish I was somewhere else and then it's over and I'm so glad it's over for a whole year! :)

hum...kind of funny, thought I had SO much to say...but I guess I really don't! :)

Well sorry for the short and somewhat boring post! :) But I have to go and try to write a paper on something I haven't decided yet, but fortunately I don't have to have it done until next Friday...and I'll most likely finish it right before the time it's due, and it will be only halfway OK...so I'm trying to change the normal thing for me to do...which is to have a bad paper that I somehow manged to write in 15 minutes! :)
Sorry if none of this makes any sense but I wrote it in about 5 minutes... :)

Really sorry about the lack of any posts this past summer! Busy with a wedding and stuff! I'll be posting more (boring) posts this winter since (hopefully) I'll have more time to do so! :D

What's up with me?

Well I've been taking this AWESOME class called GBT 1 (Great Books Tutorial). I read pretty awesome books like the Iliad (just finished reading it) The Odyssey, Herodotus, Thucydides, Xenophon (say Z instead of X), Plato and, Aristotle. And NO, I do NOT like Hektor (in the Iliad)...it really bugs me how most people will say anything to defend anything Hektor does wrong but don't really care to do that with the other (better) heroes. *end of rant* ;)

I have been trying to get used to (sometimes) being the oldest at home and thus in charge. Which I have found out I don't really like being...but I'm getting used to having to deal with every little problem that the little kids have, and not being able to just send them off to one of the older kids to deal with when Mom is gone. Luke is off to collage and Ellie is starting to learn how to drive and Nathan moved to Idaho and Silas got married, (not that I mind Silas getting married to an amazing person ;). Life is different and I'm not all that sure that I like it...still getting used to everything. I'm sure I'll like it a lot in time...! :)

I have also decided on my favorite Novel of all time! *cue drum roll* North and South by Elisabeth Gaskell! *end of drum roll*

The Amazingness of the Wonderful Time Called...SUMMER!

So yeah, Amazingness is not a word...but it is NOW!!! :P I say it all the time because it's an...amazing word! ;)

Just today right before dinner since it was really hot..95 or something...the little kids and I decied we should go in the sprinklers and act like idiots...you can not have fun in the sprinklers unless you act immature...because if you don't then you are left to just walk in and out of the sprinklers and thus you have NO fun!

So because I LOVE taking pictures and because I think posts with pictures make them look more interesting I'm going to add pictures to this post... ;)
